“One of the best walks in Britain”
– Reader’s Digest
One of the most interesting trails to visit during Norfolk & Norwich Open Studios, the Castle Acre Trail consistently offers the best to see in Norfolk arts and crafts. Plan your visit and enjoy a memorable day out.
Walk from one village to another, making time to stop at either The Stag pub in West Acre or The Ostrich in Castle Acre. This walk is part of the Nar Valley Way, described as one of the best walks in Britain by the Reader’s Digest.
Included in the trail this year, for the first time, is the all-new West Acre Gallery. Enjoy the latest art exhibition or creative workshop, and discover something truly unique in the gallery’s gift shop, with locally made crafts and art inspired gifts, cards and prints made with love by Norfolk artists and craftspeople.
The gallery and all studios are FREE to visit and do not need to be booked in advance.
Art Trails are organised by Norfolk & Norwich Open Studio artists allowing studio visitors the opportunity to make a day of their visits and to explore the local area. For more information visit the Norfolk & Norwich Open Studios website.
